The J.Crew catalog days—what an era. I was too young to actually shop there, but old enough to remember reading the magazine at breakfast before school.
They then fell off the map (for me, anyway) until a few years ago when Olympia Gayot came in swinging as their new head of design. Thanks to her and a few great accounts like @lostjcrew, I'm back where I started at 8 years old, eating cereal and perusing pastel chinos.
